The awards of the International Indian Film Academy, better known as IIFA Awards, are an esteemed award ceremony that honors Bollywood Hindi movies throughout the world. Following its philosophy of celebrating Indian cinema and then incorporating it with a global platform, the organizers of IIFA Awards - Wiz Craft International Entertainment - organized a blockbuster world tour in the year 2007.
This 2007 tour was done with the aim of Experiencing the Magic of Bollywood cinema, along with the famous Bollywood personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Lara Dutta. Amitabh Bachchan attended the media conference with Lara, Abhishek, Aiswarya, and Bipasha. The IIFA Weekend 2007 was hosted by Yorkshire that celebrated the passion, creativity and drive of Bollywood with enthusiasm and value.

The 2007 IIFA Awards was hosted in Yorkshire where nearly 30,000 extra overseas visitors swarmed into for experiencing the magic and charm of Indian cinema. The IIFA Weekend 2007 was conjointly hosted by the five world-class cities of Sheffield, Leeds, Hull, Bradford, and York for jubilation. Some of the salient events that took place during the IIFA Weekend are: IIFA World Premiere, IIFA Film Festival, IIFA-BAFTA Film Workshop, FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum, IIFA Foundation Celebrity Charity Cricket Match, IDEA-IIFA Awards.
